National Conference: Awakening the Ummah in Preparation for the Return

On Sunday 31st August 2008, the AhlulBayt Islamic Mission in association with the Islamic Centre England held a conference to mark the birth anniversary of the Awaited Saviour, Imam Al-Mahdi [atf]. The conference focused on the spiritual and communal responsibilities of our Ummah in preparation for the return of the Hidden Imam.

am a shia of Ahlul Bayt (A) from Philippines, I want to attent and come in this islamic conference , because of financial contraints, i dnt think that i can go. all i really need is the islamic books particularly Shia Books, this valuable for our shia muslim here in the philippine, insya Allah , so that we can act dakwa for ahlulbayt spreading in my province, insya ALLAH , hope ALLAH can answer my dua . This rising wave for preparation for the Imam(AS)'s re-appearance signifies to a tremendous change taking place within us which indicates that the time for his reappearance is really close. This surge of emotions and focus of intellectual broodings towards Imam(AS)clearly show the alignment of ourselves with Event going to take place soon. It's like desperate search of thirst-strickens for pure water. It's like preparation of parched lands for mansoon. It's our response to the divine signals indicating that he is coming! May Allah make all of us join his army for the truth and justice!

This was a wonderful conference. I can't think of a better one that I have attended in recent years.
