I`m really keen to start a part-time course to learn both Quranic and modern arabic. I notice you can provide tailored courses. Could you please tell me how flexible the courses are as I work and whether you could provide a course suitable for me or whether I should just do the Quranic course separate to the Modern Arabic one?

Salamun alaykum..
For the people that work full time, the part time cource will be on the weekend either Saterday or Sunday for 2hours,regarding the timings of the weekend this all depends on the applicants and we see what time is the majority that is requisted. Futhermore, regarding the age restrection is that applicants should be over 16.

The Quranic Course and Modern Arabic course will be sperate times on the same day (in the weekend) and this will allow the applicants who have chosen both can do both on the same day. Regarding the "Tailored" cources this Private tuation and this between the student and the teacher, but I would like to advise that the private tuation will be held at a public place organised by both parties.
regards.

I am interested in applying for the Arabic course, possibly the Modern Standard Arabic course, either 5-week or 10 week. I have some enquiries.
Can you kindly tell me who you are and a bit more about your organisation, also who the tutors/teachers will be.
How will the format of the lessons be; study circle, classroom?
What material if any will be provided?
Is the course accredited in any way?
What will the likely times and days of the course be?
I speak colloquial Arabic and have done all my life, my reading is ok, I dont understand all vocabulary in standard/fus'ha but I understand the gist of what I read, my speaking is good, even fus'ha, but of course vocab is the issue, and my writing is ok but need improvement. I have studied grammer many times but always discontinued and ended up forgetting almost all of it. what level do you think I would be for the purpose of this course?
Where will the course be held?
When is it due to start and finish?

Salamun Alaykum...Dear brother Sayeed
I would like to explain to you and the brothers and sisters that Modern Arabic is the Arabic that is uesed to write books in this day and age and also used to in arabic news channels and its what gets tought around the world.
Quranic Arabic is The Classical Arabic the Orginal Arabic Language what the arbic language was like(the best example is if you get a arabic book that was writen 200years ago and get a book writen in arabic now there is a huge difference in the depth of the language that was used before) and Alhamdullah Due to the Merical of the Quran the arabic language still stands to this day. Brother sayeed there people i know who still studying arabic even after 15 years the more you learn the more you want to learn more! i dont think 1 term is enough to give the basic understanding but i feel the full 3 terms (ie 60 hours) will place on the right path of understanding the arabic language and recognising and constructing sentances.

I would like to advise everyone that there is an ENROLMENT DAY ON THE 10/10/2009 BETWEEN 11AM- 3PM at :
856-858 Harrow Road, Wembley, HA0 2PX.
