Course: Milestones in Shia Thought

AIM held a course examining the lives of some of the very earliest scholars of Shi’a Islam and the unique contributions which they made to its development. Covering more than two hundred years of intellectual history, from the time of Imam al-Sadiq (d. 148 AH) to Shaykh al-Tusi (d. 460 AH), students studied the problems faced by the early Shi’a - especially the crisis of the Occultation (ghaybah) of the Twelfth Imam - and how a handful of men and women responded to these challenges, preserving the teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt and ultimately laying the foundations of modern Twelver Shi’ism.

This course was led by Brother Iskander Khaleeli, an academic and student at the Hawza Ilmiya in Qum.

Salam I strongly agree, as it would be easier to attend such conferences if they were held on weekends.

this is a MISLEADING poster as it is not a crash course in shiaism.. it is rather a viewpoint of one or two people regarding some narrators of the imams. It doesnt include any actual information regarding the Imam's themselves or the Quran... they fail to mention how you need to be an intellectual to join the course.. so its a CRASH COURSE for intellectuals... does that even make sense???

Please note that the description clearly states "Covering more than two hundred years of intellectual history".

To my fellow brother who questioned the content of the course just a reminder we all have it in us to be schlors......this statement again requires much self analysis because we are unable to tap into the potential of what our minds have been created for whatever reason. Lastly after our death we are shown what we could have achieved in our lives so always strive to set a high standard and unlock whatever obstacles that you face this is what those who teach are their for.......
