Ashura Awareness 2011 Begins
Ashura Awareness Campaign 2011 has started and is underway.
Ashura Awareness is a nationwide campaign to distribute Islamic literature to the general public, raising particular awareness on the revolution of Imam Hussain [as]. Inaugurated by AIM in 2005, it has since provided hundreds of thousands of leaflets and this year our coverage is hoped to exceed other years with many organisations up and down the country taking part.
AIM has prepared this material and made it ready for Islamic centres, youth groups, jaloos organizers, AhlulBayt Societies in university and any other entity wishing to take part.
This year titles include:

Who are the AhlulBayt?
Unity in the Islamic Community

I’d love to send it to you in case you ever need it. I got members of my family to review the french version to make sure the information is accurate. I know french isn’t the most popular language in religion, and I feel like a lot of translation work can be done into that language. I wanted to seek your advice regarding reading material that can be shared with non muslims. A couple of my colleagues and friends at work are non muslims who have expressed interest in knowing more about shia’ism. I think it will be best to share some reading material with them. Can you please suggest the books and also let me know where to get them from?
