Last week, AIM successfully concluded its 8-hour structured course entitled ‘Proofs for the Existence of God’. The course instructor, Alexander Khaleeli, offered an overview about the importance of the subject and introduced students to the most famous proofs used by theologians and philosophers followed by some of the arguments by contemporary Atheist thinkers.
The course attracted a number of students from various backgrounds who complemented the engaging teaching methods and course content. One of the students was very pleased that they attended the course, saying ‘This is the first time I’ve heard this topic discussed so thoroughly and yet it was made so easy to understand”.
On his part, the course instructor noted his pleasure with the enthusiasm of the students and stressed the need for similar courses which address the needs of the Muslim community.
AIM extends its gratitude to the students and volunteers who contributed to the overall success of the course.
AIM regularly organises Islamic courses in order to raise educational levels in the community and hopes to conduct similar courses in the near future.
