Russia's foreign minister warns the West against using force to resolve
Tehran's nuclear issue ahead of the new IAEA report's release.
"I cannot imagine that anyone would like to resolve the problem over Iran's
nuclear program by force. This is absolutely unacceptable," said Sergei Lavrov
in an interview with Turkey's NTV news channel.
He called on the international community to 'increase their efforts by three or
four times to try to find a solution through negotiation.'
ElBaradei's new report on Iran's past cooperation with the UN atomic experts
will be submitted to the IAEA board of governors in a March meeting.
"Many people expect the report to fill in the information gaps on Iran's nuclear
program," Lavrov said.
“We can make fresh efforts to persuade Iran to sit at the table for discussions
on the parameters of talks, if not for talks," he concluded.
