In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
The situation in Gaza is catastrophic. We are witnessing a genocide in full view of the world. Entire families are being wiped out. Over 84,000 Palestinians have been killed. Thousands more lie beneath rubble. Gaza is starving. Hospitals have collapsed. There is no water, no electricity, no shelter. People are eating sand to survive. This is not a natural disaster, it is a man-made massacre.
The Zionist entity is the architect of this atrocity, with full political and military support from Western governments. They arm the occupier, shield it from accountability, and enable the systematic destruction of an entire population. This is not war, it is the deliberate extermination of the Palestinian people.
The Prophet Muhammad (ṣ) said, “Whoever wakes up and is not concerned with the affairs of the Muslims is not one of them.” This is not a time for comfort or neutrality. It is a time for moral clarity and decisive action.
AIM makes a direct and urgent appeal to all Islamic centres, mosques, and programme organisers: Do not serve food during the sacred months of Muharram and Safar. Redirect those funds to Gaza. While our brothers and sisters are starving, it is shameful for us to feast in the name of the Ahlulbayt (as). Every penny spent on comfort here could be the difference between life and death there.
We also call on all individuals to do their part, donate whatever you can for Gaza. Even the smallest contribution could help feed a family, save a child, or bring relief to the wounded.
Gaza does not need our words, it needs our loyalty, our sacrifice, and our action.
May Allah (swt) aid the oppressed and disgrace the oppressors.
