An 8-Hour Course | 4 Sessions
Marriage in Islam is not merely a social arrangement or a set of legal rulings. It is a sacred covenant, a spiritual journey, and one of the most profound signs of Allah (swt).
This course seeks to restore marriage to its true place, away from modern distortions and toward the Divine vision found in the Qur’an and the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (as).
Marriage as God Intended offers a principled and reflective exploration of marriage through an ʿAqidah-centred lens. Rather than focusing only on external rulings, the course examines the inner foundations of a God-centred marriage, addressing belief, purpose, spiritual growth, and human nature.
Participants will be guided to re-examine contemporary assumptions about marriage, challenge media-driven narratives, and rediscover marriage as a path toward sakīnah, mawaddah, raḥmah, and closeness to Allah (swt).
The course is taught by Sayyid Haidar Hassanain, who is trained in the Hawza ʿIlmiyya of Qom, with a background in Islamic theology and spiritual ethics. His approach combines traditional seminary learning with an awareness of contemporary challenges facing Muslim families in the West.
