Imam Khomeini Conference 2012

The AhlulBayt Islamic Mission (AIM) and the Islamic Centre of England organised a conference to mark the demise of the Father of the Revolution, the late Imam Khomeini. Entitled ‘Reflections on Leadership’, the conference was held at the Islamic Centre of England, London on Sunday 3rd June 2012. Guest speakers included: Sheikh Moezi, Sheikh M. Saeed Bahmanpour, Revd Frank Julian Gelli, Nabil Ahmed Awan, and Sheikh Hamza Sodagar.

  5. Salam brotherThank you for this execnlelt article. You should use the opportunity this Muharram to inform people of this. We shia need to do what our imams expect us to do at this time: mourn and educate ourselves to become better Muslims and better Shias. Why don’t we use Muharram to improve our Salah for example, didn’t imam Husssain AS stop during the battle and started congregational prayers while the arrows were hitting them left right and centre? Would those who do tatbir do the same. Some take Salah so lightly while tatbir so seriously.Anyway, jazak Allah bekhair.
